We are happy to announce that we will be holding our Summer open house on Sunday September 13, 2015 at The Standard, one of Knoxville’s prominent downtown event spaces. Clients who have booked with us or are considering using our services will find a large variety of our menu options, including interactive stations, dinner selections, a large variety of our passed and stationary hors d’oeuvres, wedding cakes, and dessert choices. We also encourage friends and past clients of Bradford Catered Events to come and enjoy our new stations and menu items for your future event considerations!
This open house is different than most bridal events. We host this event to allow our clients to select their menu, try new things, or just come see what we are all about. Since this is a very food focused event, there won’t be other wedding professionals there promoting their business. We’re happy to refer you to any of our tried-and-true preferred vendors upon request.
Our sales and event staff team members will be on hand to help you plan your wedding or special event. Come hungry!

About The Standard
With its urban feel, huge skylights, exposed brick and more than 10,000 square feet of usable space, The Standard is a beautiful and unique event space in Knoxville. Originally built in 1930 for manufacturing, 416 West Jackson Avenue once housed the building’s namesake, the Standard Wilson Glass Company. In 2011, Dewhirst Properties purchased the buildings and began extensive historic renovations. Today, The Standard features an original wood staircase, copper storefronts, exposed brick walls, arched doorways and much of the original trim detail—making the space perfect for weddings, galas, parties, receptions and so much more.
Rex, please have your wife Angela there if possible. I worked with her in the mid 80’s at Florence Crittenton
And she will remember me. Want to see her and talk about many things especially our children.!
So sorry I will be unable to attend. It sounds lovely and regret that I will miss it. If Friedman’s has an event this coming year we will certainly give yu a call.
Thanks for including me.
